From screenshot to a polished visual
Sora Mockup is a pair of browser-based creative tools made for app makers, designers, marketers, and anyone preparing digital product imagery. Your work stays on your device while you compose it, and you can begin without creating an account.
- 01
Choose the right workspace
Use Mockup Studio when you already have a screenshot and want to place it inside a phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop frame. Use Design Studio when you need a custom canvas with text, shapes, images, layers, and reusable templates.
- 02
Build and refine
Upload your own image, select a device or canvas size, and adjust the composition. The mockup editor includes fit, fill, positioning, rotation, brightness, contrast, shadows, and reflections. The design editor adds layered objects, typography, selections, cropping, and common social and app-store sizes.
- 03
Export for the destination
Download transparent PNG device mockups for flexible placement. In Design Studio, export PNG or JPG for publishing, PSD for compatible editing workflows, or a Sora template when you want to preserve editable project structure for later.
Practical tools for real publishing work
A clean product image often starts with the correct frame and proportions. Mockup Studio supports iPhone, Android phone, iPad, MacBook, and iMac presentations. You can preserve the screenshot’s aspect ratio, fill the display area, reposition the image, tune its color, and control the device shadow before exporting.
Design Studio is intended for the surrounding creative work: app-store screenshots, feature graphics, social posts, presentations, print layouts, and web graphics. Start from a preset or enter a custom size. Add text and visual elements as separate layers so individual parts can be reordered, duplicated, aligned, or edited without flattening the whole composition.
Before you start
Are my uploaded files sent to a server?
The editors are designed to process your uploaded images and project data locally in your browser. Sora Mockup does not require an account to create or export a design. Avoid using any web-based tool with material you are not permitted to process.
Which file types can I use?
Mockup Studio accepts PNG, JPG, and WebP screenshots and exports PNG. Design Studio accepts common browser-supported image formats, can open Sora project templates, and offers limited PSD import for transferring basic visuals and layout.
Does PSD import replace desktop software?
No. PSD support is intended for practical transfer of common layers, text, images, and basic appearance settings. Complex masks, smart objects, advanced blend behavior, and application-specific effects may not reproduce exactly.
Can I use my exports commercially?
You may use the output you create, including for commercial projects, provided you own or have permission to use every uploaded image, font, logo, and other source asset. See the Terms of Use for the complete conditions.
Why use a transparent mockup?
A transparent export can be placed over brand colors, website sections, presentations, and marketing layouts without carrying a fixed background. It also makes one mockup reusable across several campaigns.
How do I get help?
Use the Contact page for support, bug reports, or privacy questions. Include the browser and device you used, the editor involved, and a short description of what happened; do not attach confidential source files.
